
ARTIST BIO
Felicity McClure is a Scottish artist now practicing from her home studio in East Scotland and currently working to complete her BA (Hons) in Art and Contemporary Practice at UHI in Perth, Scotland.
McClure’s 2D mixed media practice tackle’s themes of identity, self-expression, mental health, and how these characteristics relate to each other to form the self. She expresses these ideas through self-portraiture, the nude female figure, and monochromatic patterns.
McClure has been practicing since 2016 and in that time, she has presented her work in group exhibitions held at the Garment Factory (2019), the 13th Note (2018), and the Paisley Art Institute (2017) in Glasgow, Scotland. Presently, McClure is working on a body of work to be exhibited at the end of the final year of her degree at the Ice Factory in Perth, Scotland (2022).

Through the years of practising art, I have developed a set of skills including critical thinking, self-confidence, problem-solving, communication, time management, ability to take criticism, project management, creating proposals, Adobe photoshop, research, design creation, and concept development.
